We are all in this together
Sage Trail Alliance is here foremost to provide access for the Central Coast community to trails and natural places. Our goal is to provide not only a quality experience for all users, but to ensure that our trail maintenance, design and building is done in concert with the environment. Our work should be as enjoyable for you today as it is for your grandchildren.
In order to do this, Sage advocates for a holistic approach. We work with scientists to approach erosion, biology, ecology, archeology and engineering. We work with artists to approach design aesthetic and harmony with natural features. We work with trail users to ensure all feel a sense of enjoyment and stewardship for lands they appreciate. We work alongside other non profits to better community health, provide natural education, open new areas for public access, and foster a diverse user base.
In order to do all of this, we need your help and your voice. Federal funds are far and few in-between and many grants are not a guaranteed source recurring income. If you are able to give, rest assured your donation will stay in this community to maintain trails, create jobs, support conservation, and better our landscape as a whole. We are not however, simply asking for your financial commitment. We want to hear from you with regards to what you care about, what matters fire passion in you, and what you want to see in the near future. Whether you can lend a hand at a volunteer day, can give funds to keep your favorite trail open, or have ideas or a voice to help us with projects we are grateful to have you.
We are a 501(c)(3) non profit organization with an EIN of 77-0342830. Donations, including membership fees, are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. We greatly appreciate your support, and look forward to seeing you out on the trails from Gaviota to Ventura.
